The hazard
On certain vehicles equipped with Eaton Autoshift transmissions, incorrect software in these transmissions could cause a condition whereby in certain circumstances, when reverse is selected the transmission engages 2nd gear. Incorrect gear engagement can result in a crash without prior warning. Correction: Suspect software will be reprogrammed.
