The hazard
Certain limousine vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 124 - Accelerator Control Systems. The plastic end fitting of the cruise control cable may contact the brake master cylinder and fracture. The fracture may prevent full closing of the throttle as required by the standard. Correction: Dealers will install a new cruise control bracket and, if necessary, replace the cruise control cable.
