The hazard
On certain trucks, the upper bunk retaining straps may release without warning allowing the upper bunk to fall from its raised storage position to its "in use" position. If someone is sitting in the lower bunk when the strap releases they may be subject to personal injury. Correction: Upper bunk retaining straps will be replaced with automotive seat belt style retaining straps.
